The Lee Wetherington Boys & Girls Club wanted to promote recyling and raise awareness towards breast cancer through posters located throughout the club. A minimalist approach was taken towards the design of the recycling posters. This style of design was chosen to create a modern feel that would resonate with a younger audience.

 

The interlocking hands of The Boys & Girls Clubs is a very recognizable image. It provides a guiding hand to extend to the youth. Following suit, a child's hands were photographed and designed to appear painted. The pink ribbon is a symbolic image in terms of breast cancer awareness and felt it was only fitting to make it the central theme of the design. The imagery along with the subtle caption work to raise awareness among school children of breast cancer.
